tate asset fund Danantara claimed that all existing export contracts for strategic commodities will be honored, provided they are free from any under-invoicing practices, the agency’s chief operating officer Dony Oskaria said on Monday.
The statement followed the enforcement of Government Regulation No. 24/2026 on the centralization of strategic natural resource exports through a dedicated state-owned enterprise (SOE).
The regulation, signed by President Prabowo Subianto on May 20, fundamentally alters the export landscape by channeling overseas sales of key resources through a single entity called PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI).
Speaking to reporters at the legislative complex in Jakarta, Dony sought to draw a clear line between the government’s push for transparency and the continuity of legitimate business.
He confirmed that while DSI now holds the statutory mandate to export crude palm oil (CPO), coal and ferroalloys, companies with prior agreements need not fear abrupt cancellation.
“We will continue to honor the existing contracts held by all companies, which will run as they have, as long as no under-invoicing or transfer pricing practices are found," Dony said.
He stated that between June and December, DSI will operate as a sole intermediary between local exporters and their buyers abroad. To implement this layer of oversight, Danantara is currently developing a digital system to ensure visibility for every cross-border transaction involving the nation’s natural wealth.
